
Larry Luebbers
Graduated in 1987 from Saint Henry High School in Erlanger, KY where he played Baseball, Basketball, Soccer and Golf. He also attended the University of Kentucky where he pitched for two seasons.
Larry was an 8th round draft pick by the Cincinnati Reds in June 1990.
During his Minor League career he was on two Minor League Championship Teams, the 1992 Class A Midwest League, Cedar Rapid Reds and the 2001 Class AAA International League, Louisville Riverbats. Larry also had a no hitter while with AAA Louisville. He was an All Star in Class A Cedar Rapids Reds (Cincinnati Reds) in 1991 and 1992 then again for the Class AAA Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals) in 1999. Larry also played for the Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, and Oakland Athletics Minor League Organizations.
On July 3, 1993 he made Major League debut with the Cincinnati Reds against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Riverfront Stadium. His other Majors League seasons were in 1999 with the St. Louis Cardinals and again in 2000 with the Cincinnati Reds.
