Parents and Coaches,

At The Yard is excited for the opportunity to bring you your 2012 Fast-Pitch Softball Season. We look forward to this opportunity we have to develop the softball talent in Northern Kentucky and create a positive experience to remember for participants, parents, and coaches. We have made a few slight changes to the league since taking it over, but nothing that will greatly affect the type of league you are accustom to. The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the league information for this upcoming season and give you a glimpse of the vision we have for Softball in Northern Kentucky.

***Please note that there is a slight price adjustment from last year. Our League will provide additional services that will enhance the development of your young player.

We will be having a begin the season clinic that will go over all fundamentals and all coaches will go through a Coaches Clinic that will help them prepare to develop better players as well.

Along with those changes we plan on having our ATY Fast Pitch instructors be "eyes in sky" watching games periodically throughout the season and giving instruction through the coaching staff.

Why Choose At The Yard Fast-Pitch Softball League

We want Northern Kentucky to become a predominant powerhouse in Kentucky fast pitch softball. We care about the overall development of your player and players all over the Northern Kentucky area. We are going to provide an atmosphere in which these girls get the best instruction that you can offer through an instructional league. We will prepare the coaches to give basic, proper, skill instruction through practices and games. We will also be offering a FREE 90min instructional camp to all girls in 10U and under. This will give them key areas to build on throughout their season. We are not just here to provide an avenue for girls to play softball. We are here to teach them the game of softball and teach them the skills needed to prepare for High School and become overall better players. For the 12U and Varsity we will be offering an optional College Showcase. This will give these girls an opportunity to show local college scouts their individual skills and get them on the radar to be recruited in the future.

Upcoming Season Information

- Registration will begin February 1^st and will run through March 11 (10U, 8U, 6U) REGISTER NOW

- League Draft/Coach Clinic (Saturday March 17 Time TBD)

- Rosters will have 12 Players

- Practices begin Monday March 26

- Games begin April 12 for 6U, 8U, and 10U

- Games begin for 12U and Varsity June 1

- Games and practices will be at Lincoln Woods #1 and #2, Central Park #2 and Christ Chapel

- Cost per player for 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U is $115

- Cost per team for Varsity is $600 *** Please contact your coach for payment (individual without team $75) INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION CLICK HERE (without team)

- All players will receive a game shirt

- ATY will provide practice balls and catchers equipment to each team

- Game balls and bases will be provided at games

- 6U will play an 11 game season

- 8U, 10U, 12U and Varsity will play a 10 game season + a 1 and out tournament
