Mission Statement
To provide safe, effective sports performance programs for developing the complete athlete. Training will be geared towards enhancing athletic qualities, reducing the chance of injury, and building a winning attitude.
Philosophy
A sound sports performance program is a critical component of developing athletic potential and a cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle. Effective training programs are based on testing, science, experience, and progression. No matter the athlete or skill level the focus of every program and training session will be on building the physical qualities of functional movement, strength, power, and speed. The training environment is designed to aid in the development of confidence, work ethic, and character.
"The Foundation" (5-7th Grade): This class is a great way for kids to get the exercise they so badly need in an environment they will enjoy! The first level of training focuses on improving coordination, basic movement patterns, and athletic skills. This will be done by teaching the proper mechanics of running, stopping, changing direction, jumping, and landing. Basic body-weight strength exercises will be taught to help reduce the chance of injury and improve overall athleticism. Athletes can expect to improve their flexibility, core strength, speed and agility skills, work ethic, confidence, and focus.
"Fundamentals of Athleticism" (8-9th Grade): This is the key time to prepare for the demands of high school athletics and get a head start on the competition. Participants will enhance their athleticism by improving their mobility and stability, total body/ core strength, and speed and agility. A focus will be placed on preparing each participant for more advanced training in the future and on building confidence and competitiveness. Training includes: agility drills, first-step quickness, resistance training, core strength, plyometrics, sprint training.
"High School Total Sports Performance" (10-12th Grade): Athletes at this age are physically ready to increase the intensity of training and as a result greatly increase their athleticism. Each participant will be tested and evaluated to make sure a solid foundation is built and a progression is followed. Focus of training is on developing what you need to dominate in your sport: speed, agility, strength, and power.
"ATY 60" (Adult): The adult program is perfect for you if you want to: improve your overall health, reduce everyday stress, become more physically and mentally fit, and increase your athleticism. Accomplish these goals by feeding off of the energy and motivation of working out at a sports training facility. A multitude of training methods will be used in one fast paced class: functional movement exercises, yoga, strength work, agility, and power movements. Go through ladder drills, throw med-balls, run sprints, and have fun doing it. This is an opportunity to feel your best and improve your performance whether its at work, on the golf course, during the next 5k, or everyday life.
